U.S. Department of Education College Accreditation :


The goal of accreditation is to ensure that education provided by institutions of higher education meets acceptable levels of quality. Accrediting agencies, which are private educational associations of regional or national Institutions and/or programs that request an agency's evaluation and that meet an agency's criteria are then "accredited" by that agency.

The American Council on Education (ACE) :


Is a United States organization comprising over 1,800 accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities and higher education-related associations, organizations, and corporations.

NAVY COOL Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (NAVY COOL) Navy OFFICERS and ENLISTED members can meet civilian certification, apprenticeships, and federal/state license requirements related to their ratings, jobs, designators, occupations.

USMAP
The United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP) which use to be the journeyman program is a formal military training program that provides active duty Navy service members the opportunity to improve their job skills and to complete their civilian apprenticeship requirements while they are on active duty. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) provides the nationally recognized "Certificate of Completion" upon program completion.

Formerly known as The National Defense Intelligence College (also the Joint Military Intelligence College) is an accredited education and research institution serving the United States Intelligence Community by preparing personnel for senior positions in the U.S. Armed Forces and the national security structure. NFL Players Donate Free SAT-ACT Software for Military Families

SAT/ACT Study Preparation Last year a group of NFL players donated several million dollars worth of SAT/ACT Prep materials to all service members and families worldwide. The cost of these materials would have otherwise been approximately $500 per individual. In this first year they received over 16,000 thank you letters and funded more than 55,000 program requests. Due to this overwhelming response they have agreed to continue funding the donation for the next few years.

Advanced Education Voucher Program

The Navy's Education Voucher (AEV) Program Pays for advanced degree (bachelors or masters) for selected Navy senior enlisted (E-7 through E-9). Those enrolled in the program must be seeking bachelor or master degrees in areas that the Navy considers "Navy-Relevant." AEV for baccalaureate degree completion is capped at $6,700 per year for a maximum of 36 months from the date of enrollment. Total program cost per student is limited to $20,000. Qualified candidates should have an associates degree or the equivalent amount of college credit applicable to the degree being sought

The AEV masters degree program covers 100% of tuition, books, and related fees up to a maximum of $20,000 per year for up to 24 months of enrollment, with the total program cost per individual capped at $40,000. Candidates must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution recognized by the Department of Education. Officers program GEV

Spouse Career Advancement Accounts


MyCAA is an employment assistance program that provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance (maximum benefit with a $2000 fiscal year cap) to eligible military spouses who are pursuing a license, certification or Associates degree in a portable career field and occupation. Spouse of an active duty Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine service member in pay grades E1-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O2. Spouses must finish their program of study within three years from the start date of the first course.

The Post-9/11 GI Bill will pay you:


all resident tuition & fees for a public school the higher of the actual tuition & fees or $17,500 per academic year for a private school. An exception to this exists for students enrolled in private schools certain states, In these cases we will pay the higher of the actual tuition & fees or the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition & fees Your actual tuition & fees costs may exceed these amounts if you are attending a private school or are attending a public school as a nonresident student. Institutions that voluntarily enter into a Yellow Ribbon Agreement with VA choose the amount of tuition and fees that will be contributed. VA will match that amount and issue payment directly to the institution
