What are Infrared Waves?
How is it possible that the sun‘s heat
travels millions of kilometers through the
deep cold space and still warms us here on
earth? This phenomenon is made possible
through electromagnetic waves which lie just
under the visible range of light (lat. infra).
These electromagnetic waves cause molecules
to oscillate and free up energy, which is
perceived by humans as warmth.

Unlike shorter waves such as x-ray waves for

example, infrared waves have a very positive
effect on humans. Redwell gives you warmth as
it should be.

Many still carry the erroneous belief
that a warm or cold feeling depends
entirely on the temperature of the
surrounding air. That is completely
wrong!
An example from nature proves it:
Skiers and mountain climbers do not
freeze even if they are in extremely
cold air.
The reason - they are surrounded by
warm infrared waves, which come
directly from the sun or are reflected
by the environment (snow, stones, earth
etc.).
When infrared rays touch a surface,
energy is released in the form of
heat, irrespective of the surrounding
air temperature.
This explains why people on a winter
sports holiday are able to enjoy a
pleasant sunbath at low outside
temperatures without feeling the cold.

The Difference is in the Air
Unlike conventional heating
elements, Redwell heating units heat
the masonry, ceilings and
furnishings, not the air.
Walls can store warmth much longer
than air and return the warmth to
the room. Masonry stays dry and
mould and mildew have no chance to
spread.
A further advantage is that the air
is not circulated and thus, dust is
not whirled about.

We cannot do magic, but we can:
Dry the masonry, or keep it dry. This
results in a reduction of thermal
conductivity and of energy costs.
Lower the room temperature by about
2°C. That means less transport of
warmth through the room exterior, due
to the smaller difference in air
temperature. Less loss of energy
through air exchange (ventilation
cracks, etc.).

1 °C less means an energy savings of

app. 5%.

of app. 10%.
 In comparison with an oil or central heating unit,
purchasing and operational costs are halved, and
there is no cost of maintenance.

With Redwell Infrared Heating there is no need for a separate furnace room, storage
space for heating
materials, no chimney necessary, and min. renovation costs. No expensive wall
insulation necessary.
We issue a warranty of 60 months on all products. Our
products are TÜV, GS, CE, CSA (Canada & USA) and IGEF certified and are subject to
the ecological materials test of the GSF, and create absolutely no electro smog.
 A Variety of Designs
Redwell heating units are available in three surface
colors (white, red and blue), with a chalkboard
surface, various picture motives (for example Klimt,
Schiele, Monet, Van Gogh), or with mirror and glass
surface.
Our innovative product line includes various heating
elements and continues to grow through ongoing
research and development.

The frame can be ordered in chrome, aluminium, wood or

white.
