Access network infrastructure (BTS/Node B, BSC/RNC, MSS/SGSN access node) Short Code geographical translation International roaming agreements & service Clearing House service (mediation interface for international scenarios)

There is no single type of THIN MVNO, but if we generalize.. A THIN MVNO will own: Customer care tools for provisioning, top-ups & customer profile queries Postpaid billing systems A THIN MVNO will need: Access and core network infrastructure Ranges in the Public Numbering Plan Interconnection agreement with other operators International roaming agreements & service Portability interface with other operators Mediation systems Retail billing for prepaid

Evolucion: MVNE (Enabler)

The object is to isolate MVNOs tech and developments as much as possible from VF customers. Although commercial contracts are signed directly between VF and MVNOs, from the O&M point of view, THIN MVNOs customers are equivalent to THICK MVNOs Network, Service Platforms and IT systems owned by MVNE and independent from Vodafones Standarize MVNO model Easier to handle O&M processes
