ANALYSIS OF PROCRASTINATION

AMONG EDUCATION FACULTY


STUDENTS IN UTM.

These issues need to be resolved appropriately.
Procrastination affects largely on students learning and achievement
Students will be affected emotionally and mentally due to last minute works.
Procrastination is a habit of delaying works like postponing academic works and
also in submitting their assignments.

There are contributing factors and effects of
procrastination.

Evaluate the role of procrastination in deferring academic activities
of education faculty students in UTM.

Analyses the effects of procrastination on learning of education
faculty students in UTM.

Examine the factors contributing towards procrastination among
education faculty students in UTM.

Investigate the academic problems caused by procrastination among
education faculty students in UTM

Findings will help students to minimize the habit of
procrastination in their academic works.

To create awareness among education faculty students in UTM of
disadvantages of procrastination.

The factors and effects of procrastination among
education faculty students in UTM.
Respondents are education faculty students in UTM.
7.0 METHODOLOGY
Population and sampling

Education faculty students in UTM.

Undergraduate students of education faculty in UTM.

The sample of study consist of 50 undergraduate education
faculty students in UTM that comprise of 25 male and 25
female.

7.0 METHODOLOGY
Data collection

Primary data

Questionaires will be distributed to education faculty students in UTM.

Questionaires based on five-point rating (likert) scale

The data collected will be analyzed in term of percentage, table and graph.

Observation will be carried out by observing the habit of procrastination
among peers.

Secondary data

Referring to relevant information about
procrastination from books, online journal and
articles.
