assistance of the
Holy Spirit, it
transmits faithfully
the teachings of the
apostles. The

Lesson 3: The Holy Mass

What is the Holy Mass?
It is the memorial of
Christs Passover, the
making present and
the sacramental
offering of his unique
sacrifice, in the
liturgy of the Church.

What is the Eucharist?
It is the sacrament
in which the Body
and Blood of Jesus

substantially
present through
the
transubstantiation
of the bread and
wine.
What is the purpose of this sacrament?
It is a sacrament of
love and unity that
gives us the
Author of grace. It
is the source and
summit of the
whole Christian
life.

Lesson 4: Sacrament of Penance
