THIS PROVIDES
COMPARATIVELY
MORE STRENGTH.
SECTION
DISADVANTAGES
IT IS NOT DURABLE.
IT REQUIRES HIGH MAINTAINANCE AND HENCE
MAY BE FACED WITH THE STONE SLABS OR
CEMENT-PLASTERED AT THE TOP OF THE
TREADS AND SIDE OF THE RISERS.
IT INCREASES THE DEAD LOAD AND MATERIAL
EXPENSE.
IT REQUIRES SKILLED LABOUR.
