3 WILLS:
1. GODS
2. SATANS
3. YOURS
Gods Will: GOOD! Ro.12:1-3
Satans will: BAD! Jn.10:10
Your Will: All hinges on WHOM you align yourself with.
Pro.3:5-8
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your
own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your
own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. It will be
health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.
Trust-to boldly put confidence in
Lean- to rely by staying in support of
Acknowledge-to ascertain by seeing
Fear-to revere
Depart-to turn off, to rebel
Health-the cure
Strength-refreshment, lit. to irrigate

Based on the fact of 3 wills, there are 3 sources of
storms in your life.
1. The storm God sends
2. The storm created by BAD decisions
3. The storm the Devil sends

EACH MUST BE RECOGNIZED AND NAVIGATED
DIFFERENTLY
The storm God sends is intense but it has a
purpose.
It is designed to get you to a place you would
not go on your own and in the process make
you more powerful and useful than you would
otherwise be.
God uses storms to break attachments in your
life.
We find this illustrated in Jonah, whom God
used a storm to chase him out of resistance
and into His will.
Arise, go to NinevehBut Jonah rose up to
flee But the Lord sent out a great wind
Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to
swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly
of the fish three days and three nights.
This was all directed by God to break Jonahs
resistance and FREE him of any attachments
needing to be broken off his life.

From the belly of the fish Jonah cries out,
Those who cling to worthless idols turn away
from Gods love for them.(2:8 NIV)
An idol is ANYTHING that you put between
you and God. It is something keeping you from
Gods greater thingHis love and mercy.
It is something you LOVE more than God.
God usesyes He even orchestratesstorms to
break hidden attachments from your life.
1. Fear
2. Addictions
3. Relationships that are outside Gods will
4. Ideas, opinions, and falsely held beliefs
5. Anger, bitterness, and hatred
6. Stubbornness, rebellion, and pride
Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord
Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as
you received from us how you ought to walk and to
please God; for you know what commandments we
gave you through the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of
God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from
sexual immorality; that each of you should know how
to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not
know God 1 Thes. 4:1-5
The key to excelling in superabundance is
allowing God to sanctify you.
Be set apart, be holy by wholly surrendering
ones life day by day, moment by moment.
Two things God does:
1. By His blood He cleanses our souls and bodies
of sinful acts2 Cor.7:1
2. By His Spirit He purifies us from our SELVES
Sin and self must die in order to live.
