Glosario
Apagado Agradable (Graceful
shutdown)
Cierre de archivos usando tanto la funcin de apagado
de la UI o la funcin de apagado del men de inicio de
Windows antes de apagar la PC.

Si la PC se apag agradablemente
La comunicacin con el AU esta formalmente
terminada.
El AU ya no intentar enviar datos despus de un
apagado suave.

shutdown)
Apagado de la PC sin primero haber cerrado los archivos.
Esto resulta comunmente bajo muchas condiciones en una
base de datos corrompida.

Si la PC es apagada desagradablemente
La comunicacin AU/base de datos es repentinamente
interrumpida en medio del proceso.
Cualquier objeto que estuviera comunicando cuando se

For PC- Start/run-type cmd, type ipconfig

For AU-Start/run-type cmd, type ping
NOTE: All IP addresses on the hub will be available for response. If
necessary isolate the AU by disconnecting other AU/PCs from the
network

Determining PC IP Address
Ping
A command used to check for network response of IP
address
Any PC can ping any other PC and all AUs in the
workgroup
Executed from Command Prompt Window in NT
START/Run, type Cmd, click OK
At C prompt, type Ping 192.168.2.x
