Foundation
The construction site is close to Yamuna river so the water table is high and
also the soil is sandy (i.e. poor shear strength),so Pile foundation is designed
for structure with 2600 mm thick pile cap (Raft) covering entire tower area.
Water Level at construction is high so Initially dewatering is done prior to
the start of foundation work.
After dewatering soil is excavated to a certain required depth and compacted
at OMC (optimum moisture content) required.
