HOW DID THE CELL PHONE
BECOME A CELL PHONE?
It started of with engineers, in the
late 40s, proposing ideas to use
hexagonal cells for mobile phones in
vehicles.
The only problem was at this stage
technology to implement the ideas
did not exist.
Their was two companies that were trying to
develop a better way to communicate, AT&T
and Motorola. While AT&T was stuck around
the idea about having a cell phone in a car,
Martin Cooper was thinking of ways to
communicate wirelessly, which was un-heard
of.
ITS A RACE FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS
The first cell phone released by Motorola was
the DynaTec phone.

WHY WAS THE CELL PHONE INVENTED?
AT&T announced to the world that they
were the only ones capable of created a
cell phone. Their idea of a cell phone was
one that connects to your car.
Martin Cooper laughed at the idea, that
why would you want to be trapped in a car
talking to a phone.
He wanted people to have freedom to talk
where ever they wanted to.
Cell phones had quickly become popular, and
in demand!
When something is in demand inventers
always thinks of ways to make a product
better suited for what its intended.
The cell phone at the time was only intended
to communicate with other people wirelessly.
Over time inventers created other features
for the cell phone
