History Of Christianity
Christianity is founded on 1

century on the life, teachings, death,
and resurrection of Jesus Christ
Those who follow him are called as Christians
Now Christianity has many different branches all over the world.
As of the early 21
st
century, Christianity has around 2.1 billion
adherents.
About a quarter to a third of the world
population is Christianity and it is known as
the largest religion in the world
History Of Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was born in the town of Bethlehem, Israel
Jesus is also known as Jesus of Nazareth and as
Prophet Isa in Islam.
His Father named Joseph and mother named Mary were
lived middle class life
The Gospels are virtually silent when it comes to Jesus'
early life
Jesus was raised in Nazareth, Israel, and worked as a
carpenter until His thirties. He lived a traditional Jewish life
until then.



In His thirties he began his public teaching and display of recorded
miracles.
Over three year period, despite his efforts to keep a low profile, and
Jesus reputation has spread nation wide.
The Roman governors and rulers of Israels provinces and the leaders
of the Jewish people took note of him.
In Jesus key messages included:-
God loves you and is with you
Love one another
Immense value of each person
Good news: Kingdom of God has come to earth
Reality of judgment to heaven or hell
God forgiveness those who ask
Uniqueness of Jesus claims that He is God. Thus attracting a lot of
attention. Especially the religious leaders
Therefore the religious leaders asked the Roman government to
execute Him
Even the Jewish leaders recognized that other than Jesus claim to
be God, Jesus also follow the Jewish law perfectly.
At the end the religious leaders use the argument of political
disfavor, persuaded Pilate, a Roman governor of the Southern
province of Israel to authorize an execution.
Jesus Brutally been tortured and the end they hung Him by his
hands, which were nailed to horizontal wooden beam (cross)
This method of execution restricted the airflow to his lungs, killing him
in three hours.
Then Jesus returned from the dead three days later, and over the
next 40 days journeyed in both the southern and northern province
of Israel.
This was conclusive proof that God is real.
Then Jesus returned to Jerusalem, the city where he was recently
executed, and according to witnesses, he left the earth alive by
rising up into the sky.
As a result of this miraculous events, the number of his followers
increased dramatically.

Protestantism
Until the later part of the 20

Christianity were in the West.
Traditional Christians beliefs in the one and only true
God, who is one being and exists as Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit, and the belief that Jesus is the divine and
human Messiah sent to save the world
The Sacred Texts
Christianity is also noted for its emphasis on faith in Christ
as the primary component of religion
The sacred text of Christianity is the Bible, including both
the Hebrew scriptures (known as Old Testament) and
the New Testament.

Hebrew scriptures (Old Testament)
Hebrew Bible is a term that refers to the Tanakh (Jewish canon) in
relation to the many Christian biblical canons.

New Testament
The content of the New Testament deal explicitly with first century
Christianity.
The New Testament has frequently accompanied the spread of
Christianity around the world.
The New Testament is an anthology, a collection of Christian works
written in the common
Greek language of the first century, at different times by various
writers.
In almost todays Christian tradition the New Testament consists of 27
books.
Symbol Of Christianity
The Cross, which is today one of the most widely
recognized symbols in the world
The symbol got many functions and beliefs






Moreover the symbols are also used in various places
such as used for monumental tomb, used as necklace
