The first Christmas

Around the month of December, children like to imagine what

happened on the very first Christmas ever, even before Santa

Claus. I know the story well, for I was watching it all from
A place where Jesus born
above - in the dark sky on the evening of December 24th, oh
Ask to do something
so many years ago. I am the Star of Bethlehem. I was
requested by angels to shine brighter than all the other stars
Make it everywhere
that night, to tell the whole world that a very special child had
Kind, friendly
been born to spread goodwill and peace.

The first Christmas

And this is the story of the first Christmas. All was quiet that

night as I watched the Three Kings traveling slowly on camel

back through desert lands. Just then, I beamed brightly, as
notold me to. The KingsShine,
lightme in the East.
theRefuse,
angelssay
had
noticed

They couldnt resist my brilliance. Perhaps they had heard

that a star like me was going to show the way to the son of
God.

The first Christmas

Traveling through the night, the Kings met shepherds

watching over their flock. We are following that incredibly

beautiful star there in the East, to find the place where the son
of God has just been born. From there they all traveled

together, watching me, the brightest star in the sky.

Finally, they arrived at a small town called Bethlehem, and
saw that I was gleaming radiantly above the barnyard of an
Inn. All was quiet and peaceful.

The first Christmas

Their caravan entered the barnyard to see the tender little

baby lying in a simple manger fluffed with hay. Next to the

baby were Mary and Joseph, his mother and father, and many
farm animals. The Kings offered the precious gifts theyd

carried from afar for baby Jesus: gold, frankincense and

myrrh. The shepherds kneeled on the ground to pray; they
were grateful for the gift of love and the purity the baby
brought.

The first Christmas

Many people offered gifts after that - I suppose this is why on

Christmas Day, people around the world enjoy offering gifts as

a sign of love and hope.
And they try their best to bring happiness to others, as Jesus

did all his life. Now Id like to wish you a holiday season that
shines as brightly as the Star of Bethlehem!

Go Tell it On the Mountain

While shepherds kept their watching
Over silent flocks by night,
Behold throughout the heavens,
There shone a holy light:
Go, Tell It On The Mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere;
Go, Tell It On The Mountain
That Jesus Christ is born.

The shepherds feared and trembled

When lo! above the earth
Rang out the angel chorus
That hailed our Saviors birth:
Go, Tell It On The Mountain,
Over the hills and everywhere;
Go, Tell It On The Mountain
That Jesus Christ is born.

Joy to the world! The Lord is come:
Let earth receive her King.
Let every heart prepare Him room,

Nutcracker Ballet Plot

Herr Stahlbaum and his wife are giving a Christmas Party. Clara and Fritz, their
children, greet the guests. The parents give toys to all the children. Suddenly,
the mysterious Dr. Drosselmeyer arrives and entertains the children with his
magical tricks and wind-up dolls.
Dr. Drosselmeyer brings a special gift for Clara - a wooden nutcracker. In a
jealous fit, Fritz breaks it. Dr. Drosselmeyer quickly repairs it.
The party ends, the guests leave, and the Stahlbaums retire for the night.
Clara awakens as a mouse runs through her room. The clock strikes midnight.
Suddenly, the room fills with giant mice who attack Clara. Life-size toy
soldiers, led by her valiant Nutcracker, come to her rescue. The King Rat
attacks the Nutcracker, but Clara hits him with her shoe and the Nutcracker
wins the battle. After the battle, the Nutcracker is transformed into a
handsome prince.

A Christmas Carol, first published in 1843, is the most

popular of all his Christmas stories.
Its moral, which still applies today, is that a change of
heart is needed among those who are well-off
regarding the less fortunate, and that there is no
better season for it to take place than Christmas.

A Christmas Carol
Plot

On Christmas Eve, four ghosts teach Scrooge,

an elderly miser, that love and friendship are
much more important than amassing a fortune.
The first ghost is that of Marley, his former
business partner, who warns him about the
suffering awaiting him if he does not change.
The three other ghosts reveal to Scrooge
scenes from his past, present and future. After
witnessing these scenes, Scrooge is a changed
man.
