The following plans need to be implemented for higher returns and to


compete with big sharks:
Run D-Mart to be 24x7 store.
Drive-Thru D-Mart.

24x7 Store
The main objective of D-Mart is to give customers best deals and
discounts 24x7.
D-Mart runs in 3 shifts for 24 hours a day.
We will offer Flash discounts every 4 hours. To make customers visit
even at late nights.
Introduce a SMS System where the Flash discounts are sent to the
customers registered mobile numbers.
Staff will be rotated between these 3 shifts.

Drive Thru D-Mart


Drive Thru D-Mart is a facility available for the customers who are in a
hurry and cannot spend time for shopping.
In this facility, customers will enter their products in an interactive
system installed.
They will receive the products between 10 20 minutes depending
on the number of products ordered.
Customers directly pay through Credit Card at the interactive system/
Pay cash at the counter installed at the exit.
Display new deals on interactive screen will increase the revenue.

Online Shopping
Online shopping is available for the customers who cannot visit the
store.
Customers can order through our website.
Shipping throughout United States.
Flash discounts available for every 6 hours.
Ship Organic products like vegetables, meats etc.
Free Shipping on orders more than $50.

Small scale Entrepreneurs


There are tens of thousands of small scale entrepreneurs who are
looking to enter larger markets.
Approach them and make agreements with them.
Introduce their products into our Store.

Introduce Own Products


We will introduce our own products at the same quality of other
products but at cheaper prices.
This will make the consumers to try our products and if they like the
quality, they will continue with our products.
As more variant products are introduced, this will boost our revenue.

Return of Investment
The idea is to build a Hyper Mart that can compete with other
established stores like Walmart, K-mart etc.
D-mart is mainly focused on the local market and small scale
entrepreneurs who cannot get their products to large scale market.
Approach them and make agreements with them directly.
Introduce their products with the branding of D-mart competing with
established products boosts the profits.

Revenue (Estimated)
Let 2000 Customers visit the store in a day and make a purchase of
$50 on an average per customer. This constitute $100000 per day.
Drive-Thru generates an income of $50000 per day
Online sales $100000 per day
In this purchase 7% goes to tax and 80% to inventory Refill. So, net
profit per day through in store sales is $13000 per day. Making a
projection of sales increased 20% annually and 20 % new investments
are made into the inventory.
