Difficulty in fulfilling the diverse and immediate business needs of the bank
Maintaining and administering the old IT infrastructure was costing the bank a lot of
time, money and resources.
Recently acquired Temenos T24, a core banking software and hence needed an
infrastructure and database that could adequately support this solution
Solution
After careful consideration, the bank decided to implement Windows Server 2008 R2
and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Interestingly enough, this decision was reached
although no bank in the region was running Temenos T24 on Microsoft SQL Server.
