The

practice of managing and /or reducing


business expenses is termed as Cost Control.

Control starts with identifying what their


costs and evaluate whether those costs are
reasonable and affordable.

is an estimation of cost.

outflows.

CAPITAL

BUDGET:- A budget for investments that


require huge capital outlay over along period of a
time.

GOVERNMENT

BUDGET:- A budget for government


revenue and expenditure.

MISCELLANEOUS

BUDGET:- A budget for special


events Eg. Trade Fair, R and D, Sales promo, etc.

making managers responsible for implementing it.

Technically

it is defined as the establishment of


budget relating the responsibilities of executives
to the requirement of a policy, and the continuous
comparison of actual with budgeted results,
either to secure by individual action, the
objective that policy or to provide a firm basis of
its revision.

PLANNING:-

A budget is a plan of policy to be


pursued during the definite period of time to
attain a given objective.

CO-ORDINATION:-

A budgetary control coordinates various activities of the firm.

CONTROL:-

Control consists of action necessary


variations from the budget to the management for
corrective action to fulfil plans and policies.
