PROBLEM EXPLANATION
The student data base consists of the two attributes student
and department and the data is stored in the department by
the application that is designed and coded.
Previous system: The student data base is stored in written
form and then stored into the system which takes a lot of
time and includes lot of human work.
Existing system: The system which is designed for this
data base is done through java programming language and
my sql which is more reliable than the previous system

Developing Front end using Java Swings and back
end using MY-SQL.
Write a java logic to take ComboBox with Student
details.
Whenever an item change its state write a logic to
change the TextField data to display the details
related to selected item.
Delete the data if there is any redundancy problem.
Update if there are any changes in the selected data
field.

CONCEPTS
This project uses java theory for Event Handling, Swings
and Applets.
Covered the DBMS(Data Base Management Systems) to
complete the project for required fields.
Applet based programming and linking to the data base
using GUI applications.
Making the source its local server and linking to the java
program to initialize the data base.
Performing the action based commands and implementing
it on the data base.
Connecting to the ports of the system using connection
line command.
Applying the main concept of GUI programming in the
applet.

APPLICATIONS
The subject is applied in development of GUI
applications
The technologies of this subject are useful to
develop data base apllications
The micro project enables students to develop
student details in all fields.
The project created can retrieve student details
for all queries.

BENEFITS
By doing Student Profile System Project student will get an
opportunity of using all these technologies together and
construct a GUI application.
This project also helps students understand the concepts of
Event Handling, Swings and Applets which helps them in
their end examinations and in the industry.
Not only based on the syllabus the students involved in this
project will have to refer apart from the syllabus and gains
more knowledge on enhance his skills on lateral thinking.
