NOTES

Slides 2-6: The slides are programmed to show the passing of


time. Sts work in pairs. Make sure they understand they have to
speak about the topic given for 30 seconds nonstop. When the
smiley face appears, click on the mouse so that the other St in the
pair may have a go.
Slides 7-8: In pairs, Sts look at the pictures and prompts to ask
questions about the celebrity. Once the questions are formed, Sts
may have a conversation about Madonna/Bono Vox. Click on the
mouse to check the answers. Click once again, pair Sts off with a
different person and have them remember the dialogue by looking
at the picture.
Slide 9: In pairs, Sts try to classify the phrases under one of the
three categories. Click the mouse to show the answers. Click again
and have them use the prompts to role-play a conversation
between two friends.
Slide 10: Sts work in pairs to complete the conversation. Click on
the mouse to check answers. Click again, ask Sts to stand up and
mingle, role-playing the situation with different people.
