TYPES OF

LEADERS

1.- Autoritarian Leader

It is said that Steve Jobs was "To my way or the


highway". His ego and his autocratic leadership
forbade that other hardware, equipment or units will
connect twins who violated Apple's operating
structure. Gigantic error in the mid 1980s was
corrected, but it was too late.

Some experts say that if not for this mistake, Apple


would have stayed with the entire PC market.

In 1985, due to its autocratic leadership they ran the


company he had created

2.-Paternalist Leader
Papa Juan Pablo II

A paternalistic leader :

Believes that its employees are like your children and you have to
orient

No delegates responsibilities

You can be friendly , helpful and accommodating

Believes that he alone is right and is very suspicious

Consider other limited people

Just let your employees make decisions about things of little


importance

It is considered solely responsible for the achievement of business


objectives

Think what motivates is money and power

Give rewards and punishes if necessary .

No promotes team work hard

3.-Democratic Leader

peasants as the engine of the revolution. This
meant , among other things, that politicians
should be aware of local realities and the need
for an integrated vision of people with a
common goal . Mao achieved what no one had
succeeded before in China, make a free and
independent country.

4.-Laissez-faire Leader

How Laissez-Faire a leader behaves?

1 - NOT TAKE INITIATIVE AS LEADER. Let subordinates (mienbros


group) take deciciones and choose what will be done. (Are
influenced by what you say your workgroup, their passions and
interests).

2nd - CREATE DISORDER, AND UNCERTAINTY CONFUSION BETWEEN


THE GROUP AND ACHIEVE GOALS. Creates doubt, lack of security or
certainty about something.

3rd - Not give instructions unless the required.

4th - prefer clear rules

5th - are kept in the background

6th - Tend not to take sides (neutral)

7th - Influence little in achieving objectives

8th - Influence little work environment

5.-Transactional Leader
Hugo Chvez

The

leadership of Hugo Chavez had lots of it.


With strong social differences and many poor ,
Chvez gave these top priority. Its famous '
missions ' in slums , some welfare programs ,
especially to address issues of health and
education, and provide housing opportunities.
In return he received the unanimous vote of
the poor.

6.-Transformational Leader

Gandhi

Gandhi

is one of the great examples of


transformational leader . His ability to
motivate their followers to achieve its
commitment beyond his duty who managed to
achieved results above expectations. Gandhi
had the ability to create understandable
metaphors and synthesize great ideas in
simple words, and is the author of some of the
most famous phrases in history
