History
College started its degree program in 1999 and the

first batch of Electronic Engineering passed out in

2003.
At start, it offers only undergraduate degree in
Electronic Engineering.
Later in 2005, it also start degree program in
Computer System Engineering.
In 2007, it starts two more degree programs in
Electrical Engineering and telecommunications.

Exhibition]:
12th-13th January

The IEEE UCET-IUB SB arranged a Annual

Engineering Project Exhibition which was
inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar
[Vice Chancellor]. The chief organizer was
Prof. Jan M. Keerio [Professor & Principal]. The
venue was university college of engineering
and technology, The Islamia University of
Bahawalpur and The estimated attendees
were 4200. Prizes were also awarded to the
students who got 1st , 2nd &3rd positions.

Applied Means Of
Communication In
Pakistan:
25th February

The IEEE UCET-IUB successfully conducted a

seminar on Applied Means Of Communications In

Pakistan,the invited speaker was Eng. S. M. Fasih
ur Rehman. The venue was UCET IUB auditorium
and the total registered participants were 200.
Students participated with great interest.
Marvelous Lecture on communication system.

Mobile Computing:
14th17th June

An intensive workshop on the above topic was

organized, in University College Of Engineering

& Technology,IUB Auditorium, by the SB, to
increase the students expertise in dealing with
the mobile computing. Almost 300 students
were registered,invited speaker was Mr. Sajid
Ali Anjum, CEO SajiSoft. Prof. Jan Muhammad
Keerio[Principal] concluded the workshop.

Cv Writing & Interview Skills:

16th June

IEEE UCET SB did another seminar on CV writing & Interview

skills, The invited Speaker was Madam Tahira Akhtar as she is

working as Career Development Officer in Career Development
Center, The Islamia University Bahawalpur. The audience was
of around 100 people including students and the faculty
members who participated in the seminar
Students participated with great interest. Marvelous Lecture on

Interview and CV Writing Skills are delivered that created much

interest among the participants and enhances our abilities
toward

What knowledge you must have before appearing in interview.

72 Hours of Innovation (Theme:

Mobile Progress)
24th -27th June

The IEEE UCET SB arranged a competion on

mobile programing. The venue was UCET

auditorium and almost 200 students
participated in this competition. Prof Jan M.
Keerio[principal] give prize to the successful
students.
