While the original Princeton Hospital started out
as a farmhouse in 1919, Princeton HealthCare
System Foundation itself was established in
1978 to support the advancement of University
Medical Center at Princeton.

 Based in and around Princeton, New Jersey, PCHS

has served the tri state area for over 30 years.
Although PCHS is only provides services in New
Jersey, UMCP Ranks among top 1 percent of hospitals
in New Jersey for Patient Satisfaction by Press Ganey.

Billing and Payment

PHCS will bill insurance companies as long as they have been

provided with complete and accurate demographic and insurance
information, obtained necessary referrals, authorizations, precertifications, or any other requirement needed for treatment.
Bills from PHCS are specifically for facility charges and do not
include the cost of any services rendered by professional
providers such as independent physicians or professional
practices.
PHCS provides access to a financial counselor, assisting New
Jersey State residents obtain Charity Care, and establishing
payment plans for ease of payment. But if any concerns arise,
