The Vaisala Soil/Water Temperature Probe

QMT103/ QMT110 is particularly well suited for
the precision measurement of ground and soil
temperatures. All the materials used in its
manufacture have been carefully selected to
withstand various types of environmental stress
and a wide range of temperatures.
The measurement accuracy and stability of the
temperature probe are based on a Pt-100 type
sensor element, which is specified to a level of
precision of DIN 43760B. The probe includes
a 5-meter cable with a black, weather-resistant

Technical data

Water level sensor

QHR104 is a Radar water level sensor for
continuous level measurement. The product uses
the pulsed radar principle to determine the water
level without making direct contact with the water.
It is insensitive to mud, drift material, weeds and
aggressive substances such as sewage and
brackish water.

The measuring principle is based on the pulsed

radar principle. Measurement is done in pulses,
the so-called pulse procedure, where a transmitter
sends out a short microwave pulse, followed by a
period when the receiver picks up the signals
reflected by the water. The received signal is
conveyed to the integrated evaluation system.
The time travelled by the pulse corresponds with
the distance travelled to and from the surface of
the water

AWS430 is an automatic weather station specially
designed for maritime environments such as
ports, ships, and offshore platforms. The AWS430
contains either a water proof outdoor enclosure
with various mounting options or 19" equipment
rack unit. Outdoor enclosure is designed to
withstand the salty and wet conditions that prevail
aboard ships and platforms as well as the
freeze/thaw conditions experienced in extremeweather environments. It is also able to endure
vibration and shock.
