SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
1ST QUARTER CY 2015

ADMINISTRATIVE

For the 1st quarter of 2015, 6 personnel were promoted for FO2, same number for
FO3 and SFO1 ranks, 5 for SFO2, 3 for SFO3 and 1 for SFO4.

2 personnel were promoted to SINSP and 2 for INSP.

7 new Fire Officer One were absorbed for the same period.

Likewise, the office has requested the Authority to Fill-up vacancies to wit; 2 for
SFO4, 2 for SFO2, 1 for SFO1, 2 for FO3, 1 for FO2 and 1 for FO1

The ongoing recruitment of 45 FO1 from the regular quota prioritizing drivers which
were assessed by TESDA Regional Office 2
Awards and Commendations

To farther boost the morale of personnel, this region has awarded 47


Commendations/Appreciations for their active support to the overall mission and
vision of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Kiddie/Junior Fire Marshal Project

The project was implemented on SY 20062007 wherein there is a continuous


monitoring by the lower units and supervision
by the Regional Office. As of March 2015,
there are 62 for kindergarten level, 97 for
elementary level and 53 for high school level
with a total of 212 schools that implemented
the said project.

This

region has procured and distributed petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) products, medicines and 54
pcs bolt cutter.
Repair of fire trucks/rescue van specifically Alcala FMC fire truck of Cagayan BFP, Cauayan City KIA fire
truck of Isabela BFP and Solano Ambulance of Nueva Vizcaya BFP.
Repair of regional office building under MOA with DPWH, Baggao FS, Ballesteros FS, and Solano FS in the
province of Cagayan, Quezon FS in the province of Isabela, Solano FS, Bayombong FS and Quezon FS in
the province of Nueva Vizcaya and Maddela FS in the province of Quirino.
Completed repairs and improvement at Delfin Albano FS and Cabagan FS at Isabela BFP and Sta Fe FS at
Nueva Vizcaya BFP.
Registration and insurance of BFP motor vehicles conducted specifically the Tamaraw FX service vehicle
of the Regional Office, Baggao Isuzu Forward, Amulung Mitsubishi and Aparri FMC Roughneck of
Cagayan BFP, Aurora Hyundai of Isabela BFP, Cauayan City Isuzu Forward and Alicia Isuzu NQR of
Isabela BFP, Bambang FMC Roughneck and Bagabag Isuzu NQR of Nueva Vizcaya BFP and Aglipay Isuzu
Forward of Quirino BFP.
Procurement of drugs and medicines, 13 sets sound system, 54 pcs bolt cutter and office and janitorial
supplies from procurement depot and printing of tarpaulins for the observance of fire prevention month
and national fire Olympics.
Completed the repair of Solano ambulance of Nueva Vizcaya BFP
On-going repair of Alcala fire truck Ford 800
On-going repair of Cauayan City Kia fire truck.

OTHER SIGNIFICANT
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The first Provincial Summit spearheaded by BFP Isabela
held on January 15, 2015 at Isabela Provincial Capitol,
Ilagan City which was actively participated by the different
Local Government Units in the province discussing the
following:
a) BFP Citizens Charter
b) Salient Feature and Implementation of RA 9514
c) Oplan
Paghahanda
Laban
sa
Sakuna
(OPLAN
PAGHALASA) and Fire Incident Management Procedures
d) Importance of emergency response in fire incidents

The first Provincial Summit spearheaded by BFP


Nueva Vizcaya held on April 1, 2015 at Nueva Vizcaya
Provincial Capitol, Bayombong which was actively
participated by the different Local Government Units in
the province discussing the following:
a) Disaster Preparedness
b) Fire safety measures
c) Importance of emergency response in fire incidents

The Office of the Hon. Alfaro Antonio, Provincial


Governor of Cagayan allotted one million pesos to
support the plans and programs of the BFP
Cagayan.
Conducted ICS training for the CFM, MFM and
MFPO of BFP Isabela on February 16- 25, 2015
which was funded by the Provincial Government of
Isabela
