smell & water and insect
infestation respectively
Protect wooden cupboards,
desk drawers from moisture
with appropriate majors
Protect wooden flooring from
moisture by properly waxed
(polished) to protect them
from moisture
Destroy termite infestation
which is a major problem
where water leakage or high
humidity exists.
Install ventilators to remove
dampness in humid areas
Provide the door mats.

UTILITIES:

Check Transformer Oil Insulation resistance, filtration of Transformer oil to


be done.
Check Transformer safety relays operation B relay, Oil Temp., winding
temp., Oil Surge relay.
Check Transformer Cable end Boxes for ingress protection level if found
in bad condition then make proper sealing of all joints to avoid ingress of
moisture.
Check HT Panel relays for satisfactory operations.
Provide Space heaters in HT Cable compartments.
Check LT Panels for ingress protection if found not up to mark, then
replace gaskets, tighten the panel covers.
Check insulation resistance of LT Panel.
Check space heaters operations in LT Panels.
Check whether HT & LT Panel rooms are well protected from Rains &
provide enough lighting & if necessary space heating in case of high
moisture area.

UTILITIES:

Check bus duct for ingress protection failure, space heaters operation.
Check whether LT Panel is not under area where leakage can happen in
rainy season.
Check Earthing Values, if found not OK then do necessary compound filling
work.
Check tightness of all earthing joints.
Check Lightening Arrestor connectivity to earth pits.
Check earthing connections to all machines & equipments, every equipment
must have two distinct earth connections.
