SYSTEM
(GIS)

Approach
Calculation of watershed
Calculation of runoff*
Identify additional properties of
site
Storing of information

Installation
Overwrites all files of crack folder into
C:/Program files/ArcGis/License10.0/bin
Overwrite Afcore.dll in C:/Program
files/ArcGis/Desktop10/Bin
Change server name in licence file

before running LMtools

Projection
Projection:
Name: Transverse Mercator
False Easting:500000
False Northing:0
Central Meridian:81,84,87
Scale factor: 0.9999
Linear Unit: meter
Select: Geographic coordinate system
Asia> Everest-Bangladesh.prj
Note: Each input Raster and Vector files have
their own coordinate System.

Raster Datasets
Raster: Discrete square or
rectangular cells laid out in a grid
Note: Raster Image may be 2D or
3D

Visualize Raster having base height

Grid Sheet

Georeferencing
Create tfw file to specify Scale
and Coordinate of raster image
Scale
If Map is scanned in 200dpi and Map scale is 1:2400
Dot size =1/200*2.54/100 m*2400
=0.3048 m
Coordinate
Provide coordinate of top left corner of the image

Vector
Vector: Features like Points, lines and
polygons
Shape file:
Creating/exporting/Editing/Attribute
table
