ABOUT TITAN
TitanCompany brought about a paradigm shift in the Indian watch market when it
introduced its futuristic quartz technology, complemented by international
styling.
Four divisions Watches and accessories, Jewelry, Eyewear, Precision Engineering
Titan is owned by the TATA Group which has a very strong presence in the society
and is associated as a company that looks after the society and gives back to the
society.
TitanCompany is the fifth largest integrated own brand watch manufacturer in
the world.
The main focus of Titan with respect to its CSR activities lies in the area of
women empowerment, upliftment of the underprivileged girl child, skill
development and support for Indian Arts, Crafts and Indian Heritage.
During the Financial Year 2013-14, Rs.12.32 crores has been spent on the
CSR activities in areas of Education, Employability & Skill Building.

Working with two NGOs of all India reach

girl children who are being provided with
a window of opportunity

As part of the support for the arts and crafts communities of India, Titan
extended its support for a group of tribal women called Porgai, who
practice embroidery.

It is an important first step towards integrated financial and nonfinancial thinking, management and performance.
INTEGRATING SUSTAINABILITY
Titan has also taken an initiative to solve the problem of impure water and
absence of sanitation in the state of Uttarakhand. They have established a
long term engagement with the people of the state to provide proper
drinking water and sanitation facilities to the residents.
Titan boasts of a very strong Code of Conduct. During the year, Titan
has managed to resolve all the cases of sexual harassment that were
reported and has efficiently managed its grievance redressal
mechanism.
Titan has an initiative for career and educational counselling. Under this
initiative children are provided counselling on the basis of their interests
and academic strength.
