Configuring BSC Function

OMCB IP

IPABIS and OMCB channel IP

For E1 transmission, both addresses are same. For FE

transmission, two addresses are different if using VLAN, and you
shall set two virtual addresses. If you do not use VLAN, both
addresses are same too.

Configuring Abis Interface Board (E1 Abis)

while iBSC connects SDR site
by using IP OVER E1 mode,
select Multi frame.

Create the EUIP board

Configuring Abis Interface Board (FE Abis)

Configure IPBB interface board

*While using FE mode at Abis, it is not required to configure DTB board and EUIP
board for the resource shelf at Abis , and you shall configure IPBB interface board for
the resource shelf at Abis

Configuring OMCB Interface Board

Configure IPBB interface board

The IPBBs for OMCB access and SDR access can use the different network ports on a board,
but these two network ports shall be configured in different network segments.

Overview
Local LMT configuration is same as the configuration done by OMCB. On field, you
also can use all data configured by LMT,create the SDR managed element for this
site on OMCB, to set up a link between foreground and background, so the SDR
site data is reversely constructed at background.

LMT Directory

EOMS: The special software version of EOMS and EFMS can be loaded or
activated at the site by using LoadTool.
EOMS_EFMS: the copy version of operation, maintenance, and fault
management.
JRE: the installer of Java running environment.
LMTSetup.exe: DMS and PMS installer file.
readme.txt: the readme file for installer.

CC ETH1
If there are CC boards
on slot 1 and 2, you shall
view the MS indicator
after powering on.

Slot No.1 (CC-1) IP: 192.X.1.16

Slot No.2 (CC-2) IP: 192.X.2.16

*X is the environment ID, used to differentiate the different

SDR sites within a network. The default environment ID is
254.
