Initial Thoughts And Ideas

Initial concept
In our music video we plan to portray a distinctive storyline of a
moral story. Our music video genre will be a hybrid between hip
hop and rap, most music videos which range between both these
categories are very similar and have the same conventions
which normally vary from a young handsome male showing off
his cars and having women as sexual objects in the background
or a bunch of friends bumping to a song that one of them is
signing about trying to get a girl and the audience following
them on that journey, however our music video wants more than
just a typical storyline. We want to open peoples eyes through a
3minute video we show which has key elements about vital
things in our day to day life which us humans tend to lack in
realising e.g.. Respect, trust and honesty.

1.Mind vs. Beauty

In all our music videos we produce we want to reveal a deeper

message than fancy cars. Money and good looking girls. mind vs
beauty music video idea is based on the idea of two stories of young
girls growing up, one of them is the typical popular mean girl/
meani9ng she had it all from the looks all to every guy wanting to be
with her. She maintains her power by bringing people down. The other
girl is the complete opposite which acts as a contrast. She is less
attractive nor popular which results in her getting bullied by the
popular girl. These two mainstream stereotypes are portrayed
through a split screen of short clip of the difference between
lifestyles. However after there will be a scene where its fast forward
10 years late and the popular girl is getting ready o go work and as
we follow her to work it reveals the less attractive one is now her
boss.

2.Childhood

Storyline is based in the rural areas of London which are deprived, shows the reality of living
in a working class environment where a job for a single mother may not enough she has to
result into other solutions. We follow the life of the young son whom gets sent out the
house due to his mothers customers arriving however it gets revealed the customer is his
best fiends father which on the other hand comes from a middle class background

3.Trust

Everything in life is unexpected. This storyline portrays

family and love getting in the way of betrayal. This storyline
consists of watching a sibling grow up however for that to
slowly go down hill due to the fact that the brothers best
friend decides to date his sister behind his back soon for her
brother to find out by accident

4. Love is blind

The music video idea is based on secondary era of our life where
teenagers were getting themselves into serious relationships.
This story is about a female whom every one wanted to have
however was already taken by a young man. This story consist of
a best friend who soon developed feelings for this young girl soon
to accidently realise that she had bruises all over her body. Moral
of the story is to show we never kow what happens behind closed
doors. We could show a split screen of reality and how everyone
else views their relationship for a clear comparison .
