 INTRODUCTION

• Del Mar SDA Elementary School exists to lead the

children into a close and saving relationship with
Jesus Christ. The schools seek to prepare them
mentally, physically, and spiritually for a place in
His service and treasures each child who enters
as a gift of God. The Del Mar SDA Elementary
School is managed by the Seventh-day Adventist
Church to provide a spiritual oriented education
for the children wherein they will respect His
divine authority and recognize intervention in
human affairs.

• Achieve these goals and encourage each student to
develop a personal relationship with God and with his
fellowmen. It advocates that God is the true source of
education and committed to excellence. And develop
into physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity as
the blessing God intended.
• Besides, they believe that true education develops the
spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student;
preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for
the higher joy of service in the life to come. It is a
private school that offers Elementary and Preschool.

 SCOPE and LIMITATION:

The propose system tackles on the faculty as

well as the students information that belong to
the institution. It also deals about the school
staffs and any related tutorials that the school
has offered to. The administration can add,
delete and edit the information, offers, faculty,
and students and at the same time the
schedules while the faculty can only view his or
her information as well as to his or her
students. There is no delete function in the
propose system as to avoid problem for the
concern people.

• Besides, it provides log-in and log-out for
the administration and at the same time
or the faculty of the said school but not for
the viewers. If a certain faculty logs-in he
can only edit the information that governs
himself but not for anyone. It is one way of
helping the employees or any concern
people that can be found in the system for
the security purposes.

• General:
• To propose an information system for Del Mar
SDA Elementary School that could help the
school in aiming their goals as to use a
computerized-based system for giving such
information’s to the parents and students. It’s an
advantage of the school as to provide reliable
information in knowing fast and efficient terms
in determining the number of students, sections
and offers as well as the faculty-in-charge.
 Specific:

• To provide an information system for Del Mar

SDA elementary school an efficient and fast
method of searching the school has offered to
and retrieving the school information.
• To provide the faculty information in searching
records/information’s of him/her as well as to his
or her students.
• To provide the administrator an efficient way of
editing, deleting and adding information’s about
the staffs, students and offers.

TERMINOLOGIES:

• Information system-is the software and hardware

systems that support data-intensive applications.
• Carnegie Mellon- an internationally recognized
undergraduate major for the students in designing
and effective solutions.
• Luke- a wide-range university to have an existing
strength program which is the information system.
• Data- means groups of information that represent
the qualitative or quantitative attributes of a
variable or set of variables.

the international archival journal focusing
on research and experience that
contributes to the improvement of software
development practices.
• Software- is a general term primarily used
for digitally stored data such as
computer programs and other kinds of
information read and written by computers.
 SIGNIFICANCE of the STUDY:
• Doing some transaction works of the school can be a
little bit harder if you will just do it manually. With the
proposed system, a n essential strategic plan for the
management of Del Mar SDA Elementary school can be
achieved. The computerization of processes of
transaction works enables the company to work
efficiently, accurately and retrieving it faster and better.
These benefits are also an opportunity for the
proponent to apply our knowledge to the field of
Computer science in this University.
• Furthermore, this study explicitly implies the
importance of implementing full automation. In this
manner, the management of Del Mar SDA Elementary
school can retrieve the information faster in showing the
information of the satffs and students.

• Moreover, this study includes the information’s
about the faculty and staff, students who are enrolled
and tutorials as alike. It also aims for the enlightenment
in a spiritual image under the influence as mortal and
spiritual values which compose the essence of cultural
circle, upbringing self-education and impact; in other
words, it is a process of personality formation.
• In conclusion, this system shall achieve better user
service to the school and greater job satisfaction on the
part of the user and employees since workloads can be
cut almost in half as it will be done automatically by the
proposed system.

undergraduate major for students who want to
design and implement effective solutions to meet
organizational and management needs for

company or a school, whether large, medium or small. This
system can help the administrator in monitoring the
information of the school about the students, staffs and
offers to cut significant costs and have a dramatic impact on
the school as to belong the generation. Today’s systems are
now powerful, but easy to use. The information software
provides precise control and information in regards of the
management of a certain school.
