Guideline

Introduction to DOCC Social Project

Development mainly focuses on poverty alleviation, better


livelihood opportunities, provision of basic amenities and
infrastructure facilities through sustainable programs.

The above goals will be achieved by implementing various programs


with appropriate support systems, creating partnerships with
communities, non-governmental organizations, community-based
organizations, and institutions.

Objective of DOCC Project

Process of DOCC project work


Project Assignments:
I. Diagnosis

Understanding the problem/situation/issue as per the scope of the project identified for the
student.

Collecting necessary information from all possible field sources,

Identifying the problem/situation in a context, based on literature review and information


collected.

II. Comprehension

Preparing a SWOT analysis wherever relevant and identifying critical issues.

Developing alternatives for addressing the problem/situation.

III. Implementation and Analysis

Preparing an implementable plan of action in consultation with the organization and other
stakeholders.

Students interventions keeping in view the plan of action as planned.

IV. Recommendations

Developing a set of recommendations and follow up action plan based on the interventions.

V. Reflections

Takeaways and learning from the observation and experiences.

Lessons learnt at the bottom of the pyramid.
