Summary
. Following launch on multiple sites in NYC, ALU has been
monitoring traffic on AWS band
. Very few devices currently support AWS PCMD
analysis shows that 5 device models were seen on AWS
up to now
Around 1-2% 3-8% of total device population on AWS expected to go up

. AWS-capable devices are on AWS in average 40-50% of

the time (some variations between sites)
.

Idle mode setting already biased towards AWS through

higher cell reselection priority

. Proposal is to consider more aggressive settings to

retain devices on AWS as much as possible
