INTRODUCTION TO
DISPENSATION
In Ephesians 3:2, Paul wrote, "If indeed you have heard of the dispensation
of the grace of God which was given to me for you." (NKJV)
The word "dispensation comes from the Greek word oikonomia, which has
to do with management, administration, or stewardship.
A dispensation is a period of time during which God deals in a particular way with man in respect to sin and mans
responsibility. Unless a person understands the dispensations, he cannot understand the Bible
and it becomes a book of confusion.

INTRODUCTION TO
DISPENSATION
The word dispensation means administration.
During a dispensation man is tested in respect of obedience and to some
specific revelation of the will of God.
Each dispensation ends in a world crisis.

There are seven dispensations, during which men are given the opportunity
to know God and to serve Him in a specific way, and each of which ends in
judgment with man's failure to obey God. But, if we consider the Tribulation
as a separate dispensation, there are
eight dispensations.
