Animal Ethics
Male chicks are usually killed by being tossed into a giant
grinding machine alive.
Egg-laying hens spend their lives in a feces-filled cage
thats so small they cant spread their wings or even turn
around.
Chickens are paralyzed before getting their throats cut
and if they avoid the blade then they are killed alive in a
scalding hot water tank.
Fish are often grown in crowded enclosures and become
so stressed they will bit off fins, tails, and eyes of other
fish.
Pigs are killed by being electrocuted or shot in the head

Environmental Factors
The production of animal protein requires eight
times more fossil-fuel energy than the
production of plant protein
Livestock are a main cause of soil erosion. We
lose 13 tons of acres per year where animals
are fed grains. 272 million acres are used for
pastures and 30 million acres are used to grow
the grains that the animals eat (Vegetarian

Producing just one hamburger destroys 55
square feet of rainforest.

It is possible to receive all essential nutrients from

Vegetarians are less likely to develop type 2
diabetes, they have lower cholesterol, blood
pressure, reduced body fat, and a reduced risk of
cancer.
Vegetarians tend to be conscious of all the foods
they eat, therefore they tend to obtain a healthy
weight.
Non- organic meat usually contains chemicals,
hormones, and antibiotics which arent good for us
humans to continually intake.

you eat your next meal. The less
demand for meat means the less
they will produce. It will take one
person at a time but I believe we
can all become vegetarians at some
point. GO VEGGIES!
