Project Goal:

To recognize contributor qualities in action, and

understand why contributors are wanted/sought after
by all who work with them.

Who is a contributor?

Contributors go all out to try and find an

answer.
Contributor has an ability to create value
for self , for family, for team ,for society,
for organization.
In their work, contributors demonstrate
concern for the human beings they serve.

Qualities Of Contributor !

The Contributors focus is on achieving the

larger goals of the team, rather than focusing
only on his/her own personal success.
Contributors have a wider view of their work
and thus take pride in doing their work well.
Contributors go all out to try and find an
answer.
They take responsibility for making things
happen in any situation.
In their work, contributors demonstrate
concern for the human beings they serve

 We interviewed Mr. Anand Pandey who is

assistant manager at IIT Gandhinagar in
technology commercialisation.
They basically help to commercialize the
technologies of faculty in their structures
through licensing and through promotion of
start up .

WHEN WE ASKED MR.ANAND PANDEY

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF
CONTRIBUTOR ACCORDING TO YOU ?
He replied , According to me contributor is one whose
absence from the team or assignment really hampers the
execution of that project or assignment.
Contributor is one who has an ability & characteristics
like creation, innovation, humanity etc.
Contributor has an ability to create value for self, for
team, for family, for society, for organization.
A Contributor is someone who takes part in something or
makes a contribution.

WHAT ARE THE QUALITIES YOU LOOK IN

THE PEOPLE YOU WANT ON THE
TEAM.
He replied that the person who work in my team should always
work for the team not for the personal purpose.
He should not be rigid.
He take responsibility to do team work in any situation.
He must not be selfish.
He always be ready to learn new things.
He is open minded person.
He should be flexible to take assignment decisions.

WHAT IS THE UNIQUE QUALITIES

THAT MAKES THE PERSON A
CONTRIBUTOR?
He proactively takes up his work.
He Focuses on the goal being achieved,
not just Routine work.
He acts appropriately in each work.
He is committed to the responsibilities
of his role.
He should be strong motivator.

WHAT ARE THE QUALITIES IN YOU THAT

MAKE YOU A CONTRIBUTOR IN YOUR
PROFESION?
He Replied that, here is my current assignment we
basically have to deal with faculty researches students
and environment problems at different stages.
I feel its about getting adapted to a particular situation.
Helps me contributing and understanding the problems.
At very early stage deciding the time lines, deciding the
keys to achievable targets. Helps me overall completion
of assignment.

 We met Mehul Patel Who work in Mangalam Group as a team

leader. I asked some question to him and he replied truly. Before 1
weeks ago , Mr. Mehul was work on his project . He was the team
leader and he must complete that project in a two days with the
help 0f 7 member Coincidently 3 team member injured during
this project . So much pressure created on the tem for complete
their work. That time other team members told to team leader that
was not their fault. These condition created because of other team
members injured. So they can't do overt time. But that time
Chirag was except this challenge. He did overtime. Then he was
complete 13 part of task by himself. Team completed their work
on time because of Chirag.

 He Replied that the person who work in my team should

always work for the team not for personal purpose.
Team member take responsibility to do team work in
any situation. Team member must be honest. He is open
minded person .He had wide vision for thinking within
the limits. He/she is always ready to learn new thing. HE
must not be selfish
