Glaucoma is an eye disease in which fluid pressure in


the eye damages the optic nerve

Retinal Detachment
Occurs as a result of vitreoretinal traction where
the gel filling the eye, called the vitreous, pulls and
tugs of a tear of the retina, usually in the periphery.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetes causes an amount of glucose to remain in the


blood stream

Within the eye the damaged vessels may leak blood


and fluid into the surrounding tissues and cause vision
problems

Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration is a deterioration or breakdown


of the macula.
The macula is a small area in the retina at the back of
the eye that allows you to see fine details clearly

Corneal Blindness
Cornea:

It is the clear tissue covering the front


of the eye. It is a focusing element of
the eye.

Corneal Blindness: Vision will be drastically reduced or


lost if the cornea becomes cloudy
from disease, injury or infection.
