1993 BOMBAY BOMB BLASTS

Memon financially assisted his brother Tiger Memon.
Dawood Ibrahim helped in planning and executing the
bombings.
Memon allegedly handled Tiger Memons funds.
Funded the training of 15 youths.
Purchased vehicles for the 1993 Bombing Mission.
Stockpiled the arms and ammunition to be used.
10th March, 1993: Family fled.
1994: Arrested in New Delhi

TRAIL
JusticeP. D. Kode, in aTerrorist and
Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act(TADA)
court, found Memon guilty of the following
offences on 27 July 2007:

EXECUTION
Curative Petition filed by Memon dismissed by the
Supreme Court of India.
Sentenced capital punishment mainly under Sec 3(3) of
TADA Act,1987 and Sec 120(B) of IPC.
Mercy filed by him before The President Pranb
Mukherjee was also rejected.
Memon was executed by hanging in Nagpur Central
Jail on 30 July,2015.
