PROPERTIES FILE MEANS

.propertiesis afile extensionforfilesmainly

used inJavarelated technologies to store the
configurable parameters of anapplication. They
can also be used for storing strings
forInternationalization and localization; these
are known as Property Resource Bundles.
Each parameter is stored as a pair ofstrings,
one storing the name of the parameter (called
thekey/map), and the other storing the value.

LOCAL. PROPERTIES FILE

This is available per tenant for the overall
application. This file is used to define modify
the values given in extension specific
project.properties file. So it will basically
overrides the project.properties file value.
It was present in config folder in hybris

PROJECT. PROPERTIES FILES

This is actually a extension level property file. The

properties defined here are available only for the
extension, it belongs to. You should define the
properties, which are to be used only in this
extension. Hybris provides a property file for each
extension by default. The value for a given property
is based on the experience and convenience. For
example, the URL for HAC.
For every extension we have project.propertys file
in hybris

CONFIG. PROPERTIES FILES

The config.property file will prasent for each

template in hybris beacuse by useing extgen
and modulegen we create our predefine
extensions
In this file we give some propertys like how
many folders names likes that
To see this file go to ext-template folder
and then open any template you will find
these files

CATALINA.PROPERTYS

We all know our hybris uses tome cat server

to run our applications every tomcat
contains catalina.pro file to set some
standard propertys
In this we scan list of jars we wont to run
catlina
It is prasent in tomcat folder in hybris

ENV. PROPERTIES
These are environmental veriables in hybris
Means hybris HYBRIS_CONFIG_DIR
we set path for that varible hear to use in
whole hybris
Env.propeties file will prasent in the platform
directory in hybris
Just go to that directory and create your
varibles and enjoy

ADVANCED. PROPERTIES
This file contain some Advanced properties of hybris
This is a very impartent file for hybris developer
In this file we contain hmc
impex
buildsettings
media settings
This file is in platform/resousers directory watch
care fully
