1. Group the class with 5 members each.
2. Let them discuss and choose an appropriate name for
their group.
3. Instruct them to create their yells.
4. Let each group recite their yells.

This is useful for review purposes. This will


ensure all students to recite at the beginning of
each class.

HOW???
1. Distribute the entry ticket before the class.
2. Let each child write his/her previous learning.
3. Allow them to say and give their ticket before entering
the class.

This is a vocabulary strategy which shall allow


the students to write the three (3) key terms
learned in class.

Charade

This is a guessing activity used by the students to guess


what is being acted out by the assigned pupils/facilitators
through the use of gestures.

The students will guess the concept for the day

HOW???
1. Prepare sheets of paper where concept are placed.
2. Give the activities or procedures for the day.
3. Divide the class into those who will act out the concept and
those who will guess the words.
4. All words should be posted on the board to guess the lesson
for the day.

Toss the Ball

This strategy allows the class to start the lesson in form of


a game through tossing the ball. This enables the
students to play while discussing the lesson.

It increases focus and attention, enhances oral


communication and generated varied ideas

HOW???
1. Form a big circle formation.
2. Stay at center, toss the ball to one of the students.
3. Raise a question about the topic/ lesson. Let him/her to
answer.
4. Continue until all th prepared questions have been answered.

This is a motivating activity to reinforce learning. The


learners are motivated to learn through play.

An effective strategy to strengthen their senses and


awareness of environment.

1. Prepare and place objects that begin with m inside the
classroom.
2. Ask the children to look for objects that begin with m.
3. The students will present what they find infront of the
class.
