THE MIND: BEHAVIOR

AND ATTITUDE

Presented by:

Charlotte Jennifer M. Malingi

We

often see what is obvious

without looking at the large
picture behind it. And most of
the times we easily reacted to
that stimuli.

In Psychology, it is stated that our thinking affects our

attitude and behavior.

DEFINITION
Attitude-

the way the person feel

about someone or something.

Behavior-

the way the person act.

Here are the possible

effects:

LESS STRESS
More

and more studies are showing

that stress can bring about a host of
physical and mental problems, from
insomnia, fatigue, and loss of
concentration to more serious
ailments like severe depression,
bodily aches and pains, hypertension
(high blood pressure), digestive
disorders (as severe as ulcers), and
even heart attack and stroke.

HAPPY PEERS
Your

stress level will certainly effect

those around you, whether you are
so scattered that you cant organize
your thoughts enough to send a
coherent email, or you lash out in
anger and frustration at a startled
(and undeserving) coworker.Improving your disposition
will have a ripple effect that
positively influences everyone you
come in contact with.

JOB SECURITY
A

bad attitude (and subsequent

side effects) can get you fired, so
take it down a notch, take a deep
breath, and take a break before
you go off the deep end. An
employee who gets the ball
rolling and keeps everyone on
track is a much better asset.

CREATIVITY
A

positive workplace attitude

encourages creativity because
employees feel that their ideas will
contribute to the success of the
organization.

MOTIVATION
In

a workplace with a positive

attitude, competition is seen as a
motivator that inspires employees
to perform at their best to improve
productivity.

RESPONSIBILITY AND
ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsibility

and Accountability
work together.
People with demonstrate a
willingness to not only ensure the
job is done, but also accept
responsibility for the results -- good
or bad. They take their assigned
duties seriously and go the extra
mile to make sure the work is the
best that it can be.

The

employee accountability
definition is the responsibility of
employees to complete the tasks
they are assigned, to perform the
duties required by their job, and to
be present for their proper shifts in
order to fulfill or further the goals of
the organization. If tasks are not
completed and functions of the job
are not performed properly, then
that employee will also be
responsible for dealing with the

GOOD QUALITY OF WORK

Good quality of work makes your

employer happy and satisfied
with your job.

The quality of your work is

the representation of you.

The price of success is hard work,

dedication to the job at hand, and the
determination that whether we win or
lose, we have applied the best of
ourselves to the task at hand.
-Vince Lombardi

In order to carry a positive action

we must develop here a positive
vision.
