TEENAGERS

1.0 INTRODUCTION
This

study is related to the purpose of human


communication which is to persuade and to
play when they paying and giving the
compliment.
It is claimed that male and female way of
thinking and perceiving things are differs and
in contrast with each others.
People always conclude that females are more
complex and complicated rather than males.
Paying and giving compliment- who likes it
most?

2.0 BACKGROUND OF STUDY


Compliment

is a remark that expresses praise of


admiration of somebody. (Oxford Learners
Dictionary)
A compliment is a speech act which explicitly or
implicitly attributes credit to someone other than the
speaker, usually the person addressed, for some
good which is positively valued by the speaker and
the hearer. (Janet Holmes)
Sex-based differences in compliment behavior 1
states that compliments from men are generally
accepted, especially by female recipients, whereas
compliments from women are met with a response
type other than acceptance. (Robert K. Herbert)

METHODOLOGY

Using questionnaire and survey is
written in bilingual language to achieve
highest accuracy of data
Respondents are given brief explanation
on how to answer questionnaire
Questionnaire divided into 3 sections :
A, B, C.
