Foreign policy
Basic Concepts :
Foreign policy> is essentially
the "action theory"> policy of
a country to another country
aimed to achieve an interest

Pengertian Umum
Foreign Policy > a set of formula about

values,
attitude,
direction,
and
objectives for maintaining, securing and
advancing the national interest (national
interest) in the international arena.

Foreign

policy means> a set of

guidelines for selecting actions directed
out of the territory of a country

RELATIONS BETWEEN FOREIGN POLICY AND

DOMESTIC POLITICS / DOMESTIC POLICY

Making foreign policy with regard

to the consequences that exist in

the country (DOMESTIC LEVEL)
Henry Kissinger, an academic and
a practitioner of foreign policy the
United States, stating that foreign
policy begins when domestic
policy ends (Hanrieder: 1971)

The study of

foreign policy is at the

intersection between domestic aspects of
a country (domestic) and international
aspects of (external) of the life of a
country.

Therefore:
Study of foreign policy can not ignore both the
structures and processes of the international
system (the external environment) as well as
of the domestic political system
To separate the foreign policy with domestic
politics> This separation is possible only for
the purpose of analysis or research in
International Relations.

The League of Arab States, or Arab League, is a voluntary

association of countries whose peoples are mainly Arabic
speaking or where Arabic is an official language.
The idea of the Arab League was mooted in 1942 by the British, who
wanted to rally Arab countries against the Axis powers. However, the
league did not take off until March 1945, just before the end of World

Uni Afrika (African Union disingkat AU) adalah sebuah uni yang
terdiri dari 54negara Afrika. Satu-satunya negara Afrika penuh yang
tidak bergabung dengan UA adalah Maroko. Didirikan pada 9 Juli
2002, dibentuk sebagai penerus Organisasi Kesatuan Afrika (OAU).
Keputusan terpenting UA dibuat oleh Majelis Uni Afrika, pertemuan
semitahunan kepala negara dan pemerintahan negara-negara
anggotanya. Sekretariat UA, Komisi Uni Afrika, bermarkas di Addis
Ababa, Ethiopia.

Perhimpunan Bangsa-bangsa Asia Tenggara atau lebih populer

dengan sebutan Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
merupakan sebuah organisasi geo-politik dan ekonomi dari negaranegara di kawasan Asia Tenggara, yang didirikan di Bangkok, 8 Agustus
1967 berdasarkan Deklarasi Bangkok oleh Indonesia, Malaysia, Filipina,
Singapura, dan Thailand

Menteri LN dengan Presiden

Presiden Presidium Majelis Rakyat Tertinggi Korea Utara (Korut), Kim

Yong Nam, mengapresiasi pelaksanaan politik bebas aktif Indonesia
dalam hubungan internasional yang sangat mandiri. Apresiasi ini
disampaikan Kim Yong Nam saat bertemu Presiden Susilo Bambang
Yudhoyono (SBY) di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Selasa (15/5/2012).

Colombo, Sri Lanka, 26 Januari 2012, Menlu RI Marty Natalegawa dan

Menlu Sri Lanka, Prof. G.L. Peiris, hari ini di Colombo, Sri Lanka,
sepakat untuk menetapkan target volume perdagangan sebesar 1
milyar dolar untuk dapat dicapai pada tahun 2015. Kesepakatan ini
merupakan sebagian dari berbagai hasil pertemuan pertama Komisi
Bersama Indonesia Sri Lanka, yang berlangsung di Colombo, tanggal
26 Januari 2012.
