APEDA is Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export


Development Authority and is an export promotion
organization under Ministry of Commerce & Industries,
Government of India.

INTRODUCTION

Mango is the most important fruit of India


and is known as King of fruits.
Indian mangoes come in various shapes,
sizes and colours with a wide variety of
flavour, aroma and taste.
In India, mangoes are mainly grown in
tropical and subtropical regions from sea
level to an altitude of 1,500m.
Mangoes grow best in temperatures
around 27C

Mango pulp are process in mango processing plant.


It is used for making mango drinks, milk shakes,
juices and beverages and is used in the food
industry and homes for various applications.
Mango Pulp are most preferable soft drinks and is
wide available in retail market.

International Market

Mango pulp are loved by Millions in the world


and there is a huge demand in International
market. Estimated size of export market of
Mango pulp is over one thousand ton.
India is the largest supplier of mango pulp
catering about two third of Global Market.
Export of mango pulp has been increasing from
the past few year.
India is a major exporter of mango pulp in

Mangos are an excellentsourceof Vitamins A

(approx. 110 per average sized mango), fat (only
1 gram) and sodium.
