The Immutable

Dr.Sarma@w

This presentation, part 6, highlights

the real human values necessary to
uphold human dignity with devoted
effort. It marks a caveat for the
cream of the society to set the best
example of themselves, for men of
less fine fiber to follow. The final call
to man is, that he can never
manoeuver the results of actions
directly, with out ever concentrating
on earnest and passion-free effort.
We can never be lackadaisical.

Who Carves Our Destiny ?

Blame not, any one for your fall !
You are the cause of your success or failure !!
No one lifts you up, except your own SELF !!!
Dont fall pray to vice and floor your SELF.
You are your best friend and worst enemy too !
If fallen, ricochet with equal vigour - like a ball

Better, Be Your-own Self

Our own duty is the safest option for us
Others duty, even if it is more meritorious,
never is to be imitated by us- it is perilous
Never mind, even if we die, for the noble
cause of our own Self-development
Emulate others values, never imitate them

Who is the Real Ascetic ?

Who works ever without an eye on the fruit,
Who performs ever all ordained duty,
Though he is in the thick and thin of life,
He is the real sanyasin and true yogi
Not the recluse of Self-denial, away in forests.

Four Fold Purpose of Work

We perform any action
To get ourselves out of trouble & misery
By being inquisitive to know something
When we seek some material gain
For the sake of duty Selfless service
The ultimate one in the above is the noblest

Already Taken Care Of

If we work ever without any second thought
If we regard our duty as upper most
If we are composed and never distracted
Such a single-pointed, unwavering and
concentrated effort, sure, ensures us to
attain and retain the fruits of actions.

It Matters Not !
It matters not, what is the material and
money value of any present made by
others.
It matters a lot, with how much sincerity
and affection we render any service or
tender any gift.

The Caveat
What ever the noble and great men do,
the common man takes it as an example
So, men of character have the onus on them to
1. Reflect human dignity in all actions
2. Create high bench-marks of virtue
3. Be the Gold-Standard for others to follow

from the SELF within
Your only right is to work
but never to its fruits.
Let not, the fruit of action be
