As the elements in an organisations
marketing mix that is used to inform ,persuade
and remind the market regarding the
organisation and / or its products

There are various elements of IMC. The elements are


to be coordinated in such a way to get the maximum
Impact.
For instance, if a firm needs to create brand
awareness of a newly introduced brand, it has to
undertake publicity, advertising, sponsorship, trade
fairs participation, etc.
The number of elements to be integrated and each
elements depends on several factors such as nature
of the product, customers, area coverage,
competition, availability of funds, etc.

THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF IMC ARE:


1. PUBLICITY: It create good brand image, provide details information about firm
& product's.
2. ADVERTISING: it develop top mind awareness, it enables counter the claims of
competitors.
3. SALES PROMOTION: Persuades the buyers to buy brand, develop brand loyalty.
4. SPONSERSHIP: A firms may sponsor sports, cultural and social events, in order
to create a distinct image both for the organisation and for its brands.
5. SALESMANSHIP/ PERSONAL SELLING: Provides information to prospective
customers.
6. PUBLIC RELATIONS: Build corporate image, communicates the firms goals and
interests.
7. PACKAGING: Providing information of the product, protection of goods,
promotion of the product.
8. TRADE FAIRS AND EXIBITIONS : Demonstration of the product features, detailed
information orally, education of the prospective customers.
9. DIRECT MARKETING: It communicates latest information of the product, it
helps maintain customers relationship.
