When giving directions, instructions, or telling someone to do
something, we use the limpratif. This is how commands are given
in French.
The limpratif is used in the tu, nous, and vous form.
Note: in the tu form, the /s/ is dropped from the end of er verbs. These verbs are
instead conjugated like the je form.
For example:
Present: You are eating fruit. Tu manges des fruits.
In the limperatif: Eat some fruit. Mange des fruits.

Ngation
To use limperatif in a negative form, simply add nepas.
Par example
1. Ne parle pas.
Do not speak.

2. Ne tassois pas.
Do not sit down.

3. Ny allez pas.
Do not go there.
