Back to school morning was organised before the beginning of the academic year
IBDP Orientation for Grade 10 students and parents, IGCSE Orientation for Grade 8 students and parents, have
been conducted, while orientation for Sr. KG students coming to grade 1 and for the Grade 5 students
coming to
Regular meetings with staff for comprehensive and continuous follow-up that includes meeting with section
coordinators, house advisors, section-wise meetings and whole school meetings.
Interaction with Play group parents by Mr. Nitin Padte, Director of School
Presentation on MBIS- curriculum and activities for existing Play Group parents of MBIP by Early years and
Primary years coordinator
Support classes for new students who are first time learners of Hindi and French language.
PTA meets have been increased from 3 times in a year to 9 times for greater participation from parents.
Subscribed to news papers like Times NIE and The Hindu to provide platform for the media coverage of school
events.
Participation in couple of Surveys conducted by Times Group and Brainfeed magazine, independent agencies
providing rating for schools
Regular update about school activities via Facebook uploads, website updates and Monthly review sent to
parents via e-mails
Recently launched My dairy application for clear, accurate and quick communication with parents

5 IBDP teachers have either attended or registered for the professional development workshops in their respective role
at MBIS
Primary and Middle School Hindi teacher has attended professional development workshop at DG Khetan International
school.
Cambridge Primary workshop by Simon Lind attended by Primary years coordinator along with Mathematics teacher of
Primary section
Respective section coordinators and Principal is regularly attending workshops as and when the opportunity comes.

Teachers Appraisal Programme started on the very first day of the Academic
year, 5 stages have been completed so far, that includes, orientation, self
assessment, Identifying Areas done well and areas needs improvement,
personal goal setting, meeting with the mentor, class observation by mentor,
class observation by the Principal. Feedbacks are given at each stage.

Students appeared for Base Line Test conducted by Maharashtra State Council for Education Research and
Training (MSCERT) in English and Mathematics (Grade 2 to 8).

Helping the students of BMC school children in learning music, dance and computer - EY to Grade 10
International Day of Old persons- Visit to the old age Home on Mira road
Daan Utsav (collection of educational and sports material from students, according to wish list of BMC students, to
distribute among them.)

Animal shelter- students of IBDP1 and IBDP2 have been visiting the animal shelter AMTM (Animals Matters To Me)
Fund raiser activity for Leprosy Relief Work organized by the Swiss Emmaus Leprosy Relief Work- India- Our school
MBIS has contribute the sum of Rs, 93,591 for the cause.
