1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 BACKGROUND OF STUDY
Malaysia is one of the favourite destination for foreigner. In
2012 Global Peace Index Malaysia is rank 20 th in the world
Malaysia's plan for higher education expansion is in
welcoming international branch campuses.
Malaysias higher education system is rank 27th in the new
QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings in 2016.
UTHM got QS 5 Stars in teaching, facilities and innovation
categories.

1.3 OBJECTIVES
To investigate relationship between student achievement towards
quality of teaching and learning on the second year students,
UTHM.
This research has being doing to identify how far the effect attitude
of the student with quality of teaching and learning on the second
year students, UTHM.
To investigate the effect of environment toward quality of teaching
and learning on the second year students, UTHM.

1.4 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Teaching Method.
It help to improve two way communication in process of teaching and learning for
student and teacher. For example, with some good teaching method such as
stimulation on learning will help student gain more knowledge about the subject.
Time Management.
Benjamin Franklin, the father of time management says Failing to plan is planning
to fail
Facilities
Learning can occur anywhere but the positive learning outcomes generally sought by
education systems happen in quality learning environments. One of the example is
quality of facilities. It for improving the facilities that lack of.

This result show that less people is getting low grade then highest grade
this because with good time management, quality of teaching and
learning process.

Furthermore, to gain 4.00 flat is very hard to get it. Its need a quality of
time arrangement, quality of learning, balance of studying and outdoor
activity and many more.

According to United States news by Lynn F. Jacobs says with a good

planning in life and study smart will help to achieve what we want and
need to have a objective in life. Lastly by Benjamin Franklin who is

how the way to achieve success in daily life even with smaller planning

According to Pediatrician as specializing in the care with breathing and sleep problem says at
his blog , if student sacrifices sleep time to study, doing project, assignment and many more.

It will affect or trouble understanding material that being taught in class and be more likely to
struggle on an assignment or test the following day.

Furthermore, Four responded says no, as the result in survey foam they are first year student
and maybe they have a good time management to manage all worked. As the conclusion of
this graph, with good time management, making a schedule list for doing a assignment will
not affected sleep or resting time. When people less sleeping early, it will not only affected
studies but also health.
