first orthodontic specialists of the

advised
the
removal
of
deciduous teeth when this was
necessary to prevent malocclusion
in the permanent dentition.
He urged caution in the use of
endodontic reamers, because they
could be broken or swallowed by
the patient.
Fauchard was the first to record the
construction of complete dentures.
