Proposal - C/O 16 bungalows in Sunheri Bagh Lane by demolishing 3 bungalows
of Sunheri Bagh, and re- appropriating area of other bungalows at Akbar Road,
Krishna Menon Marg and Motilal Nehru Marg.
Phase-I: 4 bungalows constructed & allotted to VIPs.
Drawings of balance 12 bungalows under approval from local bodies.
Phase-II: 3 bungalows sanctioned in 2012, not taken up due to non-availability of

Reconstruction of 516 bungalows in LBZ area proposed- Estimate


for Rs. 3032 Cr. submitted to MOUD on Dec 2013.

EFC note along with Cabinet note submitted to MOUD Aug 2014

Decision to construct 29 bungalows in precarious conditions in


view of cost and time frame of 3 decades for 516 bungalows.

Decision to take up development of LBZ on review and finalisation


of LBZ guidelines

Bungalows are unsafe on seismic considerations and due for


immediate redevelopment.

New Parliament Building
Honble Speaker has written to UDM for construction of New
Parliament Building on one of the two suggested plots in Dec.
2015.

Requirements discussed with LSS & New Parliament Building to


cater to following capacities:
Lok Sabha : 800-1100 seats
Rajya Sabha : 400-550 seats
Central Hall : 1200-1650 seats

This requires construction of approx. 83,000 Sqm area and a plot


area of around 20 acres which is possible in area at plot No-36 &38
(21 acres).

Constitution Club of India
It is a part of Vittalbhai Patel Residential Complex.
In principle approval by MoUD for redevelopment of Constitution Club-
Rs 246 Cr.
MoUD constituted a committee under the Chairmanship of MoS (SD & E)
for overseeing the proposal.
Initial plans/development controls being prepared for NDMC for approval.
Appointment of consultants is in progress.
