manifest genuine enthusiasm and pride
in his vocation.

Teacher should constantly strive to broaden


his cultural outlook and deepen his
professional knowledge by:
A regular program of professional reading;
Advanced studies;
Attendance at seminars, lectures, concerts,
dramas, etc.;
Group discussions on contemporary ideas,
methods, and approaches;
Membership and participation in educational
associations;
Developing a mind open to constructive
criticism.

A teacher is bound by legal obligation to


fulfill the conditions of his/her contract
with the school which he /she signed.
A teacher should endeavor to enhance
and grow in his/her present position
meanwhile maturing in his/her nobility of
character and refinement of behavior.
A teacher should be a model of dignity,
poise, and respectability in dress,
manners, and in language at all times.
Whatever his/her personal views at
teacher is called upon to support and to
carry out the policies of the school and
of the administration.
If a teacher disagrees with some policies
of the administration, he/she should
seek clarification through conference, or
dialogue with superiors to reduce
opposition to a reasonable acceptance.

In the discharge of school functions, the


teacher should transact business through
channels.
In all contracts with the administrator,
direct or indirect, the teacher shall show
proper respect, without becoming
extremely subservient.

the coordination between
administration and faculty as expected
of a true Christian animated with a
democratic spirit, for the realization of
the objectives of the school.

In order to render full cooperation with


administration, a teacher is expected
to:
A. Submit promptly all required reports
and records (grading sheets, syllabi, etc.)
B. Participate wholeheartedly at meetings
affecting his/her college or the institution
at large.
C. Offer or accept to serve on committee/s
formed for special functions.

D. Take interest in and give support to all


activities of the school approved by the
administration.
E. Handle by himself/herself, minor
disciplinary problems not within the
classroom.
F. Place a vital importance to the good
name of the school, whenever making
decisions affecting the school: academic,
administrative, social, or personal.

confidence, and fairness, whenever the
successful attainment of school
objectives demand it.

teacher shall make sure that a proper
turnover of records or documents is
done to assure continuity of tasks and

teacher, he/she shall listen with
sympathy and broadmindedness, and
should discourage unfair criticism
against fellow teachers, the
administration, and the school system

children, avoiding any remark which
might undermine the students trust in
that responsibility.

that the best agents in creating good
public relations with the community are
the students.
Therefore, teacher must constantly remind
students to observe proper decorum when
they are in public places, like in buses,
restaurants, parks, participating in sports
events, etc.

community which work for social,
moral, economic, and civic welfare and

to be socially acceptable by refraining
from excessive gambling, habitual
drunkenness, and other immoral acts
or practices and by keeping
himself/herself morally upright.

relations with other professional and
government officials and should render
unselfish cooperation in community
projects to the best of his/her ability
and help in promoting the general
welfare of the people in the community.

lost through your fault, He will demand
soul for soul.

Let no man despise thy youth: be


thou an example of the faithful, in
word, in conversation, in charity,
in faith, in chastity. (1 Tim., iv,
12.)
