Song was written for his girlfriend at the

time.
He wanted the song to be inspirational
This song strayed from the regular path of
a big band in the background, that buble
had become known for.
Interval changes were much smoother in
comparison to his others.
Composition history #2: Home

Co-written with bubles producer.

Written for his girlfriend at the time, he felt far away
from her.
The daughter of David Foster actually helped finish the
song.
This song hit the top of the charts, along with the top
of the country music charts due to blake sheltons
remake of it.
History of composition #3: Feeling Good

his song did not actually do

very well, and buble has not
really released a
Nobody really bought it, the
focus was on the song
home, which was on the
same album.ny information
on it.

Listening guide: Everything

Comforting intro, piano and guitar playing over eachother.

Mixture of harmonies, very pleasing to the ear.
Michaels singing plays beautifully around the beat., only on it to
emphasize certain words.
and youre the perfect thing to say, is sung with no instruments,
and is a perfect build up to the chorus.
All instruments play during the chorus, but not overwhelmingly.
Everything, continued

This songs talks of all the things he loves in the woman he speaks
of.
You can hear the emotion when he yells certain lines.
The instruments are simply accompaniment, yet a very powerful
feature of the song
Towards the end he is singing the notes in las.
Even at a whisper, the emotion through the notes played and the
words sung Is outstanding
Listening guide: Home

The instruments are playing a simple 4/4 beat in this song, while
the singer comes in with a triple/simple meter.
The feel of the song has a slight swing to it.
Again, the emphasis of this song is the singer.
Lyrics talk of love and desire.
Buble has a way of making you feel how he is feeling.
he chorus has many variances and different rhythms to create a
nice texture to the song.
Home. continued

Buble screams out his feelings, emphasizing key parts in the lyrics.
Second to last chorus plays around with the notes a bit, straying
for variety.
The last verse comes back to the similar melody, wrapping it up
before the finale.
He blasts the chorus in the end.
he song ends with almost whispered words, just re-emphasizing
the message of the song.
Listening guide: Feeling Good

This song is different than most buble songs.

Lyrics almost cause the listening to make you think of things that make you
feel good.
There's almost a sense of disorder with this song, like he's just singing what
comes to mind.
The string instruments, and drums, emphasize certain words.
The feel is very much a jazz swing feel.
Not much structure, simple melodies are repeated, words here and there,
but nothing like a: verse, chorus, verse, bridge, chorus kind of structure
that is in most buble songs.
Listening guide: Havent Met You Yet

The bass in this sound is thick, meaning it isnt heard but felt
much more.
Piano is a main instrument in the song.
The notes sung are syncopated around the piano and drums, with
less of a swing feel than what is usually found in buble songs.
At the chorus the band plays along in the background, giving the
song a very large feel.
A harmonic voice is played on top of bubles voice during the
choruses.
Havent Met You Yet, continued

Basic structure, with verses, bridge, chorus.

A solo is played by the trumpet at 1:28, giving the song variety
that makes the listener want to jump up and down and play along.
A verse is played without the standard melody, changing things up
a bit.
As with every buble song, the emotion is felt throughout. This song
ends with a blast of emotion and volume.
